On 27 April 2011, The vice director of our institute Lan-zhu Ji met the president of Univ. of Oregon, US in Dalian, Liaoning. They exchanged ideas on enhancing the cooperation between the two sides in the field of city’s sustainable development, Eco-environment protection and technical support to the being constructed Dalian New Science and TechnologyInnovation Town. 

Univ. of Oregon was found in 1876, is a famous Univ. which has 7 colleges, 160 disciplines and electives, the ecological research especially enjoys high reputation in the world.The Univ. has 2 Nobel-Prize winners and 5 Pulitzer Prize winners.

On 28 April，the two leaders signed memorandum of understanding.
