The project is one of the projects in the national key research and development plan-Soil Fertility Improvement and Cultivation Technology for Better Yield and Better Efficiency in Pedy Field Region. The project is managed by Prof ZHANG Lili in the Research Group of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer,IAE.

After the project was approved, the implementation demonstration meeting was held On 14 July 2016 in Shenyang. Attended specialists included chief scientist, Prof ZHANG Weijian from Institute of Crop Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Prof HAN Xiaori from Shenyang Agricultural University, Prof LOU Chunrong from Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Prof LI Jinfeng from Liaoning Soil and Fertilizer Station, Prof ZHANG Huiwen, Prof WU Zhijie from IAE, Prof SHI Yuanliang from New Fertilizer Company CAS. The director of IAE, Prof JI Lanzhu and section chief of IAE ZHUO Junchen presented. Others are from Shenyang Agricultural University and some fertilizer enterprises.

Prof JI expressed congratulations to the success in the approval of the project and wish fruitful results. The chief Scientist ZHANG Weijian introduced the significance and tasks of the project, expressed his hope, encouraged the research workers do their jobs hard and acknowledged the difference between soil fertility improvement and research and development of new fertilizers.

Finally, Prof ZHANG Lili reported the integral scheme, target and task partitioning. The persons responsible for sub-project reported their implementation plan. The specialist group made critical commends and suggestions. These made a nice foundation for the implementation of the project.
