On 4 June, 2011, invited by Pro, Li-jun Chen, the leader of Soil Biochemistry research group in our institute, Prof. Warren A. Dick from Ohio State University, US visited our institute and gave seminar entitled as Long-Term No-tillage Effects on Soils and Crops.
Prof. Warren A. Dick is working for School of Environment and Natural Resources, OSU. His major fields are Microbial Ecology, Soil Microbiology and Soil Biochemistry. He is the editor in chief of the journal American Society of Agronomy, Member of editor board of Soil and Tillage Research and Nutrient Cycling in Agro-ecosystems.
In his seminar He introduced the long-term effects of protective tillage on crop growth. There were warm and fruitful discussions after the seminar.
