From 2008 to 2012, the Institute obtained 24 awards from the state, local provinces and the ministries ¾ one Second-Class National Natural Science Award, one First-Class Scientific Advancement Award, five Second-Class National Science Advancement Awards, and 17 awards from provincial- and ministry-level sources. During this same period, the Institute registered 18 new patent applications. In the past 6 years the Institute has applied for 339 patents, of which 272 were authorized. Over 80% of the filed patents are invention patents.
