Resume

Li Yuehui, female, native of Benxi, Liaoning Province, an Associate Researcher working in landscape ecology. Her main research interests include forest landscape ecology, landscape genetics, and wetland landscape ecology. She focuses on the effects of climate change and human activities on forest landscape patterns in Northeast China, particularly how factors such as understory carbon storage influence animal population dynamics, habitat suitability, and landscape genetic processes. She also investigates the spatiotemporal dynamics of wetland landscapes and their driving mechanisms on habitat quality, bird migration, and ecohydrological processes. In addition, her research extends to other landscape types, including sandy and urban landscapes, with an emphasis on pattern–process relationships.

Educational Experience

1999.09 — 2003.07 Ph.D. degree in Landscape Ecology from the Shenyang Institute of Applied Ecology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China. 1995.09 — 1998.07 M.S. degree from the State Key Laboratory of Grassland Engineering, Northeast Normal University, Changchun, Jilin Province, China. 1991.09 — 1995.07 B.S. degree from the College of Life Sciences, Northeast Normal University, Changchun, Jilin Province, China.
