Resume
HU Yanyu, female, born in October 1992 in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. Ph.D., Associate Professor. Her primary research focuses on soil–plant carbon and nitrogen nutrient cycling processes and their underlying drivers. Using in 15N field tracing techniques, she accurately quantify the fate of fertilizer nitrogen in no-till black soil croplands of Northeast China within the soil–plant–environment system. Her work has elucidated how agricultural management practices influence fertilizer nitrogen distribution and identified effective pathways for mitigating nitrogen leaching and gaseous losses. These findings provide critical scientific support for national priorities including efficient nitrogen cycling, food security, adaptive management of agricultural resources, and high-quality sustainable development. She has published 10 SCI-indexed papers as first author or corresponding author (including co-first or co-corresponding author) in leading journals such as Agriculture, Ecosystems and Environment, Soil and Tillage Research, Journal of Plant Ecology, Plant and Soil, and the Chinese Journal of Ecology, as well as 2 papers in core Chinese-language journals.
