Resume
DENG Fangbo, Female, born in Dec 1991, native of Fuxin, Liaoning Province. Master's supervisor. Associate professor. Her research mainly focuses on soil microbial ecology and soil science. She is interested in the role of soil microbes in controlling soil carbon and nitrogen cycling, particularly soil-plant-microbe interactions in agricultural ecosystems. She has conducted research on the roles of soil microbial community structure and microbial necromass in key ecological processes such as soil carbon sequestration and nitrogen cycling. In the past five years, she has led six research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program) and two subtasks of the National Key Research and Development Program of China. She has published more than 10 SCI papers in international journals, including Soil Biology and Biochemistry, Geoderma and Science of the Total Environment. She has received several academic awards, including the Outstanding Graduate Student Presentation Award at the 6th Young Scientist Forums of Earth Science, the First Prize for Graduate Student Presentations at the 6th Lishu Black Soil Forum, and the Second Prize at the 3rd Young Scientist Academic Forum of the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was also honored with the "Outstanding Individual" title by the People's Government of Lishu County. In January 2025, she was awarded the “LüYe” Outstanding Young Scientist Program at the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was appointed as an associate professor. In the same year, she was funded by Liaoning Provincial Youth Science and Technology Talent Support Program. She has contributed to the publication of three monographs on conservation agriculture, serving as associate editor for two and as a contributor for one. She has also co-authored four enterprise standards.
