LI Chunlin, male, born in October 1985, native of Linqu, Shandong Province, Ph.D. Professor, Doctoral supervisor, Researcher. Member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research mainly focuses on landscape ecology and urban ecology, investigating the mechanisms underlying the impacts of landscape pattern evolution on surface water, atmospheric environment and thermal environment, as well as exploring optimized landscape pattern strategies for ecological environment improvement. He has been the principal investigator of more than 20 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program, and the National Water Pollution Control and Treatment Science and Technology Major Project.
He has published more than 50 first-author or corresponding-author SCI papers in journals such as Landscape and Urban Planning and Water Research. He serves as an editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Applied Ecology and a youth editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Soil Science. He conducted academic visits and exchanges at Cornell University, Princeton University and the University of Oxford. He currently holds the following academic positions: Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association for Landscape Ecology (IALE-China); Deputy Secretary-General of the Professional Committee of Landscape Ecology, Ecological Society of China; Member of the Youth Working Committee of the Ecological Society of China; Member of the Watershed Spatial Planning Branch of the Urban Planning Society of China; Director of the Liaoning Land Science Society.
