BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese researchers have disclosed that a species asynchrony, illustrating the difference in species reaction rates on external environment changes, was the determinant of the temporal stability of aboveground biomass in temperate forests.

On August 16, 2019, at the invitation of the Natural Forest Ecology Group of the Institute of Applied Ecology (IAE) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Associate Professor LIU Xubing from the School of Life Sciences of Sun Yat-Sen University visited IAE and gave a talk entitled “Resource partitioning and species coexistence among arbuscular and ectomycorrhizal trees”.
