On April 25th, 2019, the first one of a series of talks that will be delivered and organized by the innovation team for grassland ecology and adaptive management research was presented at the No.1 conference room of the Institute of Applied Ecology (IAE) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

According to news from the 24th meeting of the Sino-German Agricultural Science and Technology Working Group, the project “Application of Information Technology and Innovation of Agricultural Environment's Ecological Management”, which was jointly applied by three scientists (CHEN Xin, XUE Bing, REN Xiaxia) of the Institute of Applied Ecology (IAE) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and two scientists (Bettina Matzdorf and CHEN Cheng) of the Leibniz Agricultural Landscape Research Center in Germany, was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture of the German Federal Government as the Sino-German Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation Project for 2018-2019.

On April 7th, 2019, a science popularization activity on the theme of "Bee Project: Discovering Nesting of Bees" was held at the Huitong Forest Ecosystem Research Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Huitong Station). From February to March 2019, HE Xingyuan, PI (principal investigator) of the national key R&D project “Ecological Protection and Biological Resource Exploitation & Utilization in Northeast Forest Areas: the Technologies and Demonstrations”, and other scientists who participated in this project organized and carried out a series of technological achievement demonstration activities in Jilin Provinces, aiming to enhance the impacts of the project, meanwhile, help relevant counties in ecological restoration and agroforestry economic transformation & development.
