On 13-15 October 2017 , the annual meeting of the committee was held at Qingyuan Station . The committee director , Prof LIU Shirong , vice director , Prof YU Guirui , Prof ZHU Jiaojun , Committee member Prof HUANG Zhiqun , Prof WANG Zhenquan .Prof SHEN Weijun , Prof HAO Zhanqing were present .The party secretary JIN Changjie , the director of Science and Technology Department ZHUO Junchen of IAE and workers in the station attended .It is a mile stone for the research station and will promote the station to construct a world - class field research station .

The introduced talents should possess advanced idea , frontier technology and strong creativity and influence in the field of research resultstransition , cooperation among enterprise , university and institute .For the contributions in these work , Prof WU Zhijie got one million RMB award from the local authorityduring the meeting .

He introduced how to use isotopes , including stable and radioactive Carbon isotopes , to study the strategy for allocation and turnover of non-structural carbon hydrates under drought stress .Prof FANG Yunting , Prof WANG Xugao , Prof HAO Guangyou and Prof LV Xiaotao and graduate students attended the seminar and jointed related discussions .

The review results of proposals for National Natural Science Foundation have been announced by NNSFC recently .The items include 3 key projects ( Applicants were Prof HAO Zhanqing , Prof HU Yuanman and Prof ZHUANG Jie ) , 2 Outstanding Youth projects ( Prof HAO Guangyou and WANG Xugao ) , 18 ordinary items , 11 youth items and 1 internationally cooperation item .According to the discipline classification , I youth items belongs to Chemistry , 20 items belong to life science including 1key project , 2 outstanding youth items , 14 ordinary item and 3 youth items14 items belong to Earth Science .

The seminars held on 3 - 6 August , 2017 in Shenyang were hosted by Professional Committee of Soil Physics , Soil Science Society of China , cooperatively undertaken by IAE CAS , Key Lab of Pollution Ecology and Environmental Engineering CAS .Shenyang Agricultural University , Liaoning Academy of Agriculture , Shenyang University , Liaoning Association of Soil Science and National Shenyang Field Research Station for Cropland Ecosystem .The seminar also constructed foundations for the research cooperation between Chinese and international scientists on soil physics .
