The seminar held in Erguna Research Station on 18-21 Julys , 2017 was co-sponsored by IAE and Inner-Mongolian Academy of Agriculture and Husbandry . The seminar was conducted by the director of the station , Prof WANG Zhengwen and the vice director .Finally , the honorary director of the station , Prof HAN Xingguo highly evaluated the significance of the seminar and sincerely invited interested scholars and specialists come to the station developing their research work .

On 13 July , Prof HE Yan , accompanied by LI Jing , the vice director of Beijing Branch , Prof ZHU Jiaojun , the vice director and party secretary JIN Changjie of IAE and the leaders of the station .Surveyed Erguna Forest - Steppe Ecotope Ecosystem Research Station , IAE .He hoped that the station will make more contributions to the development of ecological science and husbandry of China .

Invited by Associate Prof XU Sheng in Urban Ecology research Group , Plant physiologist working in USDA and North Carolina State University , Prof Kent Burkey and Associate Prof REN Shuying visited IAE and gave seminars on 19-22 .Prof Burkey gave seminar entitled as Bioindicator Plants and Protective Chemicals for Assessing O3 Effects on Crops Production and Quality .The visit was welcomed by the leaders and workers in the arboretum .

Invited by research groups of Secondary Forest Ecology and Management IAE , Qingyuan Forest Ecosystem Research Station CAS and Forest Ecology and Management CAS , Dr Gary Cerr , the specialist in silviculture in Forest Research , Forestry Commission .UK and Chief Editor of internationally main - stream Journal Forestry visited IAE on 2 - 8 July .Seminar , Prof YAN had discussions with Dr Kerr on the further exchange and cooperation between the 2 sides .

The director of Department of Science and Technology , IAE addressed welcome speech .The seminar included specialist report and free discussions , so as to academic exchange and the development of research in nitrogen deposition .The discussions pointed the new angel of view to the changes in the origin of nitrogen deposition in the future and the further orientation of work in this field .
