On 9 September 2016, the initiation meeting was held in Shenyang. The Specialist Group members for the project include Prof WANG Jingkuan, Prof ZHANG Yulong, Prof CHEN Zhiwen, Prof WU Zhijie, Prof SHI Yi, Prof CHEN Xin and Prof HE Hongbo. Responsible persons for the subordinated subjects also presented. The head of Science and Technology Department of IAE made a speech.

The meeting was conducted by Prof WANG Jingkuan. Prof LIANG Chao, the responsible person for the project reported the target and implementation scheme for the whole project. Responsible persons for the subordinated subjects reported respectively the content and implementation plan. The specialist group members presented valuable opinions on the feasibility of the implementation plan and suggestions in the ways of realization of the whole target. The specialists considered that the responsible institutions for the respective subjects had firm foundations, technical experiences and necessary experiment platform for the project implementation and every subject had clear target, feasible research techniques and implementation plan that support the implementation of the research content set in the assignment book and will get predicted achievements. The specialists requested to strengthen information exchange and data integration among research groups, further condense important achievement, accomplish the objective of the project in prevention and controlling of N/P leaching from black soils in Northeast China.
