To meet the national need in reducing fertilizer application and exchange advanced ideas on the nutrient management, Shandong Provincial Education Department organized the forum undertaken by Shandong Agricultural University on 20-22 November 2017.
About 400 participants came from USA, Canada and China. Prof Malcolm Sumner from Georgia State University, Prof David Myrold from Oregon State University, Prof GilberetSigua from USDA and Prof Zhang Tiequan gave report. The leader of Research Group of Plant nutrition and fertilizer IAE, rof ZHANG Lili Gave report entitled as Research Progress and Application of Stabilized Fertilizers in China. The report introduced the current situation in N fertilizer application, the development of stabilized fertilizer application, research achievements, industrialization and outlook on the future in China. The report got extensive attention.
