In concert with the middle-term Check and Acceptance 0f Featured Institute construction in Thirteenth Five Year Plan, the research center of Soil Ecology and Agricultural-Ecological Engineering, IAE sponsored a 2018 seminar to summarize the advancement in Soil nutrient cycling and fertilization technology for increase efficiency and reduce application of fertilizers.
Prof FANG Yunting, the Vice director of IAE, The head of Office of Science and Technology, IAE, Prof ZHANG Xudong, Prof WU Zhijie, Prof YU Wantai, Prof LIANG Wenju, Prof CHEN Lijun, Prof SHI Yi, Prof HE Hongbo, LIANG Chao, Prof LI Dongbo, Prof YIN Guanghua, Prof ZHANG Lili, related workers in the research groups of agricultural ecological engineering, soil ecology, soil fertility and nutrient cycling, ecosystem microbiology, applied soil bio-chemistry, agricultural water/soil engineering, matter cycling process and plant nutrition and fertilizers presented. The seminar was conducted by Prof WU Zhijie.
First, the research groups reported the research advancement for their task, respectively, The Potential and Mechanism of Low–Molecule Organic Acid in Activation of Soil Phosphorus in Northeast China, The effect of Long-term Fertilization on Soil Nematode Community, Responses of Nitrogen Supply to Adding Inhibiter, Mechanisms of Carbon Storage and the Prospect of Its Application, Responses of Soil’s Ability in Phosphorus Holding and Supplying to Measures of Regulation, Integrated Alternative Technologies for Fertilizer Reduction and Construction of Demonstration Area, Soil Nitrogen Transformation by Microbes and Regulation Mechanisms in Increase N Fertilizer Efficiency and R & D of New Nitrification Inhibiter and Its Application in N Fertilizer Reduction Practice. The specialists commented on each report and gave suggestions for the work from now on.
