Institute of Applied Ecology and North China Pharmaceutical Group Sign Cooperation Agreement

The institute of Applied Ecology (IAE), CAS and the North China Pharmaceutical Group (NCPG) AINO Co., Ltd., signed a cooperation agreement on research and development of biofungicides.


The agreement, signed on 7 May, covers the establishment of a joint laboratory for biological control agents and an industrialization base for transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The two parties also would hold regular exchange meetings, share research data, and jointly participate in the promotion of new products.


FANG Yunting, the deputy director of IAE, SUN YaoHua, the board chairman and general manager of AINO Co., Ltd., on behalf of the two parties singed the agreement.


The first methylotrophic Bacillus 9912 biofungicide, jointly developed by the two parties has been granted registration permit by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The full cooperation between the two parties will accelerate the industrialization and promotion this biofungicide, and will quickly improve the academic influences of IAE in the area of biopesticides in China.


Before signing the agreement, FANG Yunting, the deputy director of IAE, JING Hongshuang, the chief of S&T Cooperation Division, Professor HU Jiangchun, and PAN Huaqi, the Associate Researcher from the research team of agricultural microbiology technology, visited NCPG’s research institutes, packaging line, warehouse and fermentation factories, and hold a symposium with GAO Renlong, the deputy general manager of NCPG, HU Weiguo, the director of S&T Division of NCPG, SUN Yaohua and other senior staff of NCPG.
