From January 16th to 17th, 2021, the annual summary & promotion conference of the National Key R&D Program "Integrated Technology and Intelligent Equipment for Green Cleaning-Desorption Treatment of High-Concentration Petroleum Contaminated Soil" was held, in the form of offline (in Shenyang) and online video conference. The scientists, engineers and technicians from China University of Petroleum, CNPC Safety and Environmental Protection Institute, Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Design Co., Ltd., CNOOC Environmental Services Co., Ltd., Liaoning Huafu Co., Ltd., etc.,  attended the conference. The conference was organized by the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.   

The researchers (principle investigators) in charge of the projects and sub-projects of the program summarized their work during the past two years and made work arrangements for the next stage. Then, the experts participating in the conference discussed in-depth the existing problems of each project. The PIs were suggested to pay more attention to technical integration, the structural connection between different projects, performance evaluation of projects, and the construction of demonstration bases. The program chief affirmed the overall progress of the projects and put forward guiding suggestions, emphasizing that all projects must make full preparations for the program's mid-term assessment.
