IAE Hosts its Sixth Applied Ecology Forum of 2022
Prof. Han's talk, entitled "Carbon and Nitrogen Cycle Processes in Inner Mongolia Grassland Ecosystem - Influencing Factors and Mechanisms", was mainly about the long-term research that his research group conducted at ecosystem, landscape and regional scales in the Inner Mongolian grassland. Prof. Han focused on the sharing of research results of 4 members of his research group, including unsolved scientific issues and the future research highlights. At the end of his talk, Prof. Han gave graduate students some good advice, emphasizing the importance of reading scientific literature, designing experimental plans, strengthening teamwork, and conducting long-term research.
After the talk, the participants and Prof. Han had in-depth exchanges and heated discussions concerning scientific questions in ecology. The participants said that the "Applied Ecology Forum" series were of high level, which had expanded their academic vision and knowledge, and had played a good role in promoting the growth of young scientists.
