On July 28, 2022, the Paddy Field Soil Fertility Conservation and Improvement Model R&D team of the "Black Soil & Granary" Shenyang Demonstration Zone Project Working Group held a mid-term meeting to promote the progress of their research. Dr. Zhang Lili, the leader of Shenyang Demonstration Zone Project Working Group, attended the meeting.

Professor CHEN Xin, team leader of the Paddy Field Model R&D team, presided over the meeting. Dr. Jiang Nan, core member of the Model R&D team and associate researcher of IAE, made a general report. The other team members did detailed reports on different aspects of the Model R&D work, including the spring ploughing work, publicity and promotion activities, research outcomes and the work plans for the next stage. Professor CHEN Xin participated in the discussion of the work plans. He pointed out that it was necessary to further clarify the objectives and the implementation priorities to lay a solid foundation for the next stage of the project.
