On August 27, 2022, the 21st Ecology Conference of China was held in Guiyang. At the conference, the Ecological Society of China bestowed plaques by the name of "Ecology Popularization Education Base" to nineteen institutions including Changbai Mountain Forest Ecosystem Research Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guangxi Daming Mountain National Nature Reserve, Xinghu National Wetland Park. DAI Guanhua, deputy head of Changbai Mountain Station, attended the plaque unveiling ceremony and accepted the award.
