On March 17, 2023, the "Anti-wind Erosion, Water-saving, High-Efficiency Agriculture Model Fuxin Demonstration Zone Project" of the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) held a meeting discussing its implementation plans in 2023. More than 20 people including the researchers working with the project and the invited experts for consulting (Prof. WU Zhijie, Prof.ZOU Hongtao, Prof.SUN Zhanxiang, Prof. YU Lihong, etc) attended the meeting, which was held offline at the Institute of Applied Ecology (IAE) of CAS and in video conferencing mode.

Dr. Zhang Lili, the researcher in charge of Fuxin Demonstration Zone Project, presided at the meeting. At the beginning, WANG Xugao, Head of the Science and Technology Division of IAE, expressed his sincere welcome to the experts' visit.

Dr. Zhang Lili gave an overall introduction to the "Anti-wind Erosion, Water-saving, High-Efficiency Agriculture Model Fuxin Demonstration Zone Project." Then the researchers in charge of sub-projects or sub-research models gave reports. Dr. Zhang Lili made closing remarks and said that the experts' opinions would be well considered.

The convening of this meeting effectively inspected the progress of all sub-model projects, strengthened the exchanges between research teams of sub-projects, further clarified their respective research directions and work priorities, which laid a solid foundation for the researchers to achieve more scientific outcomes.
