On April 25, 2023, Professor YAN Jun, head of the Key Laboratory of Pollution Ecology and Environmental Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Professor AN Jing and Associate Professor LI Xiuying visited the Changbaishan Forest Ecosystem National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station (hereinafter referred to as Changbaishan Station) in Jilin. 

Accompanied by DAI Guanhua, deputy head of Changbaishan Station, the visitors paid a visit to the sample processing laboratory, instrument room, meteorological station, atmospheric background values measurement station, plant herbarium and soil sample exhibition room, forest hydrological simulation laboratory, etc. 

YAN Jun spoke highly of the experimental conditions of Changbaishan Station, and said that some research of the key laboratory would be conducted at Changbaishan Station.

The 2023 National Symposium on Pollution Ecology will be held in Changbaishan Nature Reserve and Development Zone from July 25 to 28, 2023, and will be co-hosted by the Key Laboratory of Pollution Ecology and Environmental Engineering of CAS and the Changbaishan Station. The co-organizers of the symposium discussed details to hold the symposium.
