From September 19 to 21, 2024, the Soil Nutrient and Water Efficient Utilization and Green Fertilizer Innovation Team participated in the annual academic conference of the Chinese Society of Soil Science's Soil Fertility and Fertilizer Professional Committee. Led by Chief Scientist Dr. WU Zhijie, the team joined over 260 experts, scholars, graduate students, and industry representatives to discuss “Healthy Farmland and Safe Agricultural Production.”

The conference aimed to promote the protection and utilization of arable land, aligning with national strategies for food security and technological advancement. Participants shared the latest research findings, exchanged academic perspectives, and showcased technological products related to healthy soil cultivation and agricultural green development.

Dr. ZHANG Lili from the team presented a keynote report on the progress and industrialization of stable fertilizers. Other team members, including Dr. MA Qiang, Senior Engineer XUE Yan, and Associate Researcher ZHANG Lei, delivered presentations on topics such as nitrogen microbial retention and mineral fixation, the impact of functional stable fertilizers on soil nitrogen transformation in semi-arid regions, and the development of polyaspartic acid fertilizers.

Through active participation and collaboration with domestic peers, the team strengthened its position in the field and identified opportunities for future research and innovation.
